Lizt Alfonso ha revolucionado el panorama de la danza cubana al fusionar de manera magistral elementos del folclore español y cubano con técnicas contemporáneas. Su compañía, Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba, ofrece espectáculos visualmente impactantes y energéticamente contagiosos, donde la tradición se reinventa y se adapta a los tiempos modernos. La coreografía de Alfonso es una celebración de la identidad cubana, expresada a través de movimientos precisos y llenos de pasión, que cautivan a públicos de todas las edades y orígenes.
En su última producción “Habana Fenix” las coreografías constituyen un tributo a la totalidad de la gracia criolla toda y a la mezcla de raíces africanas y españolas heredadas en Cuba. "Habana Fénix" es un espectáculo que rinde homenaje a la ciudad de La Habana y a su ilustre historiador, Eusebio Leal. A través de la danza, la música y la puesta en escena, esta obra nos transporta a un viaje por la historia y la cultura cubana, evocando la belleza, la resiliencia y el espíritu indomable de la capital cubana.
Habana Fénix es una celebración de la vida, la alegría y la pasión del pueblo cubano. El vestuario, la narrativa, la expresión corporal y la atmosfera creada son elementos fundamentales de la obra, transportando al espectador a diferentes épocas y ambientes de La Habana que hablan de la rebeldía, la riqueza cultural y la diversidad de su gente.
