De Mar y Río, es una agrupación de música tradicional de Marimba, proveniente de todo pacífico sur, pues sus integrantes pertenecen a diferentes territorios como Cali, Timbiquí, Guapí, López de mi Micay, Guapi, Iscuande, El Charco, y Juanchaco, lo que los hace ser De Mar y Río. La agrupación ganadora en la modalidad de 'Marimba y Cantos Tradicionales' del Festival Petronio Álvarez 2024 se presentará en el Festival Colombia Puntos Cardinales 2025 del Teatro Colsubsidio.
Este conjunto musical que inició como un semillero, que se fundó en 2014 y lo conforman jóvenes sobresalientes, su nombre hace alusión al mar y al río, y a los pueblos del Pacífico de donde vienen sus integrantes. Desde el Pacífico colombiano llega el buen arte de este grupo de jóvenes, enamorados de sus raíces musicales. A los sones de sus cantos, la marimba de chonta y las percusiones se alza una consigna ineludible en cuanto empieza a sonar su música ¡bailen y gocen!
