La agrupación ‘Guarura’, hoy, es símbolo de empoderamiento femenino de las músicas de los llanos orientales colombianos.
Guarura es compuesta por: Arpa, Voz, Cuatro, Bajo eléctrico y Maracas, el ensamble de estos instrumentos está fortalecido, tanto por la familiaridad de las integrantes, como por la excelencia técnica en la interpretación de estos instrumentos, que han sabido estudiar y heredar los sonidos y perfeccionar las técnicas más complejas. Con múltiples giras nacionales e internacionales se han venido posicionando como fenomenales embajadoras de estas músicas y la riquísima tradición cultural llanera.
Escucharlas y gozar con sus interpretaciones, es transportarse a los majestuosos Llanos orientales, con sus bellos atardeceres, olor a campo y auténticos joropos. Ellas son música, belleza, paisaje y esplendor. Un concierto de Guarura es un despliegue de asombro, es el disfrute de la energía del llano y la posibilidad de sentir lo imponente y hermoso de esta cultura.
